Mike Elgan, also on Substack, predicts Twitter will "win" this new platform simply because Clubhouse has no special sauce therefore it's a commodity and commodities are easily replicated, and dropped/adopted by users. That, coupled with huge movers like Musk, for example, will see users follow people, not the platform. If Musk (or other heavy hitters) use Spaces, all his millions of followers will follow him there and leave the clubhouse bare because there's nothing sticky about Clubhouse.
